Eddies —> Communeddies

I love eddies.

And metaphors.  To me eddies are a perfect process-metaphor for short-term groups oriented around projects/goals, [spirit, vulnerability, releasing, growth, whatever] "work".  The world needs people willing to swirl into existence, knowing the duration of their time together might be temporally brief, but in the coming together something happens.  There’s energy.  There’s relationality.  There could be shared work toward a shared project, helping each other resource for their own projects.  The possibilities are as infinite as the moments in which eddies whirlpool into existence and ultimately recede into the current.  The *current*.  Into life continuing. 

Eddies allow for mesmerizing efficiency, syntropy (ordering) *because*  of entropy (disordering, “chaos”), not despite it.   

There’s beauty, depth, movement, and dissipation.  Ephemeral [___you get to fill in the blank here___] groups.

These don’t replace long-term relationships between and among friends, family, and groups; not all groups need to aim to last forever.  They need to *be* for as long as the energy coheres them together, fulfilling their purpose and then continuing on with life.
